In a major breakthrough, the Visakhapatnam city police arrested a 58-year-old man in connection with the chilling Duvvada double murder case. The accused, Prasanna Kumar Mishra, a native of Puri district in Odisha, was taken into custody on Saturday following intensive investigation.
Mishra is believed to be directly linked to the murder of two individuals in the Duvvada area. Authorities had been on the lookout for him, and his arrest marks a significant development in the high-profile case that has unsettled local residents.
The police have yet to disclose the full motive behind the crime but confirmed that further interrogations are underway. Mishra will be produced in court, and officials have not ruled out the possibility of more arrests in connection with the case.
