Pradip Navet Held for Rs4.5L Gold Theft in Kundaim

Tenant stole gold from Manaswado house, police say

Mardol police have arrested a 30-year-old man, Pradip Navet, a native of Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly stealing gold ornaments worth Rs4.5 lakh from a house in Manaswado, Kundaim.

According to the police, Navet was living in the house as a tenant and committed the theft on the previous day of the arrest. Acting swiftly on the complaint, officers from the Mardol police station tracked down the accused and took him into custody.

During interrogation, Navet confessed to the crime, police confirmed. The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to recover the stolen jewellery.

Authorities are also verifying if the accused has been involved in similar offenses elsewhere.
