Pomfret Man Arrested for Burglary and Multiple Thefts Over Two Days

Abdul Aziz Bah caught stealing from homes again after previous arrest

POMFRET, Md. — On July 6, 2025, at 11:25 a.m., Pomfret patrol officers responded to a theft in progress on Marshalls Corner Road. Witnesses reported a male suspect actively stealing property from a home.

Officers located the suspect pushing a bicycle and carrying a large trash bag. The man was identified as Abdul Aziz Bah, 29, of no fixed address, who had been arrested just the day before for theft.

At the scene, Bah was found in possession of stolen sports equipment, a bicycle, electronics, fishing tackle, and tools. Additionally, he was responsible for stealing mail from multiple homes in the area.

Some recovered items remain unlinked to specific theft reports, and investigators are working to identify the rightful owners. Bah was arrested and charged with burglary, multiple counts of theft, and destruction of property.
