Police Constable J. Bharimal Arrested for Brown Sugar Peddling in Naypalli

Constable caught red-handed selling drugs; has past allegations including murder and illegal mining

In a shocking incident, police constable J. Bharimal, currently posted in Police Reserve, was arrested on Wednesday evening for allegedly peddling brown sugar under the jurisdiction of Naypalli police station. Authorities seized 30 grams of brown sugar from his possession at Behera Sahu.

Bharimal, who had a controversial past including an arrest in a 2008 murder case, was acquitted by the court and subsequently rejoined the police force. He was also reportedly involved in illegal mining activities in Khurda.

The Naypalli police are continuing investigations into the case.
