On Sunday, the police arrested nine individuals allegedly involved in an instant loan app fraud and seized cryptocurrency worth Rs60 lakh from their possession.
The arrested persons include G. Sambasiva Rao (32) from Palnadu; K. Sandeep (39) and Y. Sai Krishna (31) from Guntur; Y.V. Dileep Kumar (25) from Palnadu; along with five others whose identities are yet to be disclosed.
The police continue their investigation into the scam involving fraudulent loan applications and digital currency transactions.
