In separate raids across the district, local police have arrested three individuals in connection with drug possession. The first arrest occurred during a raid by the Model Town police when Ishu, a resident of Balveer Colony, was apprehended with 13 grams of narcotic powder in his possession.
In the second operation, the Mahilpur police made two arrests: Davinder Singh from Binjo and Vicky from Bahbalpur. The officers recovered 140 grams of narcotic powder from their possession. All three suspects have been taken into custody, and investigations are ongoing.
The police have intensified efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the region, with further actions expected.
