Pitt County Man Arrested on Gun and Drug Charges

Brandon Peadon, 35, arrested after search uncovers firearms, cocaine, and marijuana paraphernalia.

PITT COUNTY, N.C. — A Pitt County man is behind bars after being arrested on multiple gun and drug offenses on Monday afternoon. Brandon Peadon, 35, was taken into custody by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office after deputies responded to a report of multiple shots fired near Frog Level Road and Barrington Drive.

Upon investigating, deputies executed a search warrant at Peadon’s home at 3486 Frog Level Road, just outside Greenville. The search led to the discovery of two handguns, two AR-15 rifles, cocaine, and marijuana paraphernalia.

Peadon, a convicted felon who had previously been sentenced in 2009 for breaking and entering into vehicles, is now facing four counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Peadon remains in Pitt County Jail under a $7,500 secured bond.
