Two more members of the Liverpool-based “Scouse Dave” county lines drug gang have been sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court for their roles in supplying heroin and crack cocaine in Gosport and Plymouth.
Paul Naughton, 30, of no fixed address, was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Brett Coe-Quainton, 26, of Gale Moor Avenue in Gosport, received eight years and four months for the same offences. He was also convicted of stalking involving fear of violence, burglary, and breaching a previous sentence.
Another co-conspirator, Kevin Wealthal, 57, from Little Chilworth in Gosport, was given a two-year suspended sentence and ordered to serve a four-month electronically monitored curfew.
The court heard that from January 2022 to March 2023, the Scouse Dave gang moved at least 25 kilograms of crack cocaine and heroin into Gosport, and nearly 10 kilograms into Plymouth.
Police said the gang was run like a business, with cash profits transported back to Merseyside. Detectives tracked local dealers in Gosport, which ultimately led to the arrest of brothers Anthony and Brian Siner, who had been leading the operation.
Anthony Siner managed the Gosport supply chain, while his brother Brian orchestrated the Plymouth network from behind bars, where he was already serving a 14-year sentence for similar offences.
So far, 14 members of the gang have been sentenced. Three more are awaiting court dates. Police operations across Hampshire, Devon, and Merseyside have resulted in the seizure of over 4kg of drugs, more than £30,000 in cash, and several weapons.
