Mobile, Ala. (WKRG) — Patrick Cameron Carlton, 20, has been arrested in connection with a January shooting and robbery that occurred in downtown Mobile. According to the Mobile County Jail Management System, Carlton was booked into jail Tuesday afternoon, facing charges of first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling or vehicle.

Carlton’s arrest follows that of Jakobe Morgan, 21, who was arrested earlier on February 3 in connection with the same incident.

Mobile police had issued a public plea for help on January 29 to locate both suspects in relation to a shooting on St. Francis Street, which took place on January 19 around 2:30 a.m. The victim, a man who arrived at a local hospital with a severe but non-life-threatening gunshot wound, told investigators that he was shot and robbed by two individuals.
