Patna Police Arrest Four in Gardanibagh House Burglary

Stolen TVs, cellphones, and valuables recovered from Araria residents

Patna: The Patna Police arrested four individuals allegedly involved in a house burglary at Police Colony, Gardanibagh, which occurred on the night of December 29.

The complainant, Girja Devi (63), widow of the late Randhir Kumar Singh, reported the theft on December 30, stating that unidentified intruders had stolen televisions, cellphones, and other valuables.

Under the leadership of SDPO (Secretariat-I), a special investigation team was formed. Leveraging technical evidence and reliable intelligence, police conducted targeted raids that led to the arrests.

The accused were identified as:

Mohammad Rashid (22) – Farsadangi Palasi Urlaha, Palasi

Mohammad Miraj (21) – Brother of Rashid, same locality

Mohammad Haroon (20) – Araria district

Mohammad Manzoor (50) – Araria district

During the operation, police recovered:

2 televisions

8 cellphones

1 keypad

1 tablet

1 wristwatch

All four accused were Araria natives, living on rent in Patna and reportedly engaged in minor work. Further legal action is underway.
