SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. — Police have arrested three individuals in connection with a multi-year drug trafficking and distribution investigation in South Windsor.
Authorities say 34-year-old Pascious Mink of Enfield was the alleged ringleader, using commercial businesses to illegally distribute drugs such as fentanyl, cocaine, and oxycodone.
On Saturday, officers with the East Central Narcotics Task Force executed search and seizure warrants at Kenco Spirits and two related residential properties.
Police recovered a significant cache of evidence, including:
Over 1,000 oxycodone pills
Fentanyl, crack cocaine, MDMA, and Xanax, packaged for sale
Two firearms, a high-capacity drum magazine, and ammunition
More than $25,000 in cash
Mink faces multiple charges including criminal possession of firearms, operating a drug factory, and several counts of possession with intent to distribute. He is being held on a $750,000 bond.
Also arrested were:
Tony Broaden, 42, of Enfield, charged with narcotic sales and intent to distribute ($400,000 bond)
Sonia Rodriguez, 46, of Hartford, charged with intent to distribute (released on $10,000 bond)
All three are scheduled to appear in court on Monday. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
