The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested three individuals in a Rs2.5 crore fake postage stamp scam involving the Lakhaoti Sub-Post Office in Bulandshahr.

Among those arrested is Pappu Singh, identified as the brother of the Sub Post Master (SPM) at the Lakhaoti sub-post office. The other two accused are Rajesh Kumar and Mahendra Kumar, both private individuals.

The trio allegedly conspired to manufacture and circulate fake postage stamps, defrauding the postal system of over Rs2.5 crore. The CBI, acting on credible intelligence, conducted multiple raids and made the arrests as part of a wider crackdown on fraudulent postal operations.

Authorities are continuing the investigation, with officials suggesting more arrests could follow.
