Padubidri Police Arrest Mohammad Ruhaan & Tajuddin in Bullet Bike Theft

Inter-district thieves caught with stolen bike and getaway car

Padubidri police have arrested two inter-district bike thieves, Mohammad Ruhaan and Tajuddin P K (also known as Taju), in connection with the theft of a Bullet bike that occurred 20 days ago in Padubidri market.

The stolen Bullet bike and a Maruti Ritz car used during the theft were recovered by the police. The accused were produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.

On the night of January 21, Parikshith Shetty of Mundkur had parked his Bullet bike in Padubidri market before going to work. Upon return, he found his bike missing and lodged a complaint with Padubidri police. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the suspects in Shivamogga.

Tajuddin has multiple cases registered against him in Shivamogga district, including robbery, kidnapping, and vehicle theft across various police stations such as Kote, Vinoba Nagar, Tunga Nagar, Dodda Pete, and Agumbe. He also faces cases in Sagara, Hassan district, and Dharwad city, with warrants issued by all those stations.

Mohammad Ruhaan is accused in a gold shop theft case at Jigani police station, Bengaluru, and has cases related to student kidnapping and vehicle theft in Shivamogga district.
