Three teenagers were arrested after a 24-year-old Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), Olivia Morphew, was found with a ‘serious’ knife wound in her arm. However, she now faces allegations that she stabbed herself in an attempt to claim compensation.

Morphew initially reported being attacked and knifed during an assault in Esher, Surrey, in June 2023. Following the incident, three teenage boys were arrested in nearby Claygate on suspicion of attempted murder. A 9cm stainless steel kitchen knife was recovered from the scene.

The investigation into the incident has since revealed claims that Morphew may have staged the attack, leading to her being charged with perverting the course of justice, fraud, and possession of a knife in a public place.
