Nysiah Plaisance Arrested for Larceny and Vehicle Theft in Staunton

Arrests made following a string of larcenies in Staunton, Va.

STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) – Nysiah Plaisance, 19, has been arrested in connection to a series of larcenies in Staunton, Virginia. Between September 30 and November 24, the Staunton Police Department received multiple reports of items stolen from vehicles.

Plaisance was arrested on December 5 and charged with two counts of petit larceny, two counts of entering a vehicle with intent to commit a crime, possession of burglary tools, and wearing a mask in public. On December 16, she received additional charges including credit card theft, nine counts of petit larceny, and 11 counts of entering a vehicle with intent to commit a crime.

A 17-year-old male was arrested on December 20 in connection to the larcenies, facing charges of credit card theft, grand larceny, petit larceny, and multiple counts of entering a vehicle with intent to commit a crime.

Both suspects remain in custody as the investigation continues.
