NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — A 23-year-old man was arrested late Monday night on multiple gun and drug charges following a burglary investigation on Ashley Phosphate Road, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
Arrest Details
Calestro Bernard Frazier was charged with:
Possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime
Trafficking fentanyl (14 grams or more)
Distribution of methamphetamine
Possession of Schedule I and II narcotics
Police reported that just before midnight on March 3, officers responded to a reported burglary at the North Charleston Lodge. Security footage showed three individuals entering and exiting a hotel room multiple times, although only one guest was registered to the room.
When officers and hotel management approached and instructed the occupants to exit, Frazier allegedly reached toward his pockets and waistband.
