LAUREL, MD — The Laurel Police Department arrested Noe Manrique Garcia-Umanzor, 19, of Temple Hills, Maryland, in connection with the homicide of 31-year-old Ovidio Arnoldo Zecena-Mateo of Laurel.
Garcia-Umanzor has been charged with first-degree murder and other related offenses in the shooting death that occurred on April 1, 2025.
Detectives from the Laurel Police Criminal Investigations Division identified Garcia-Umanzor as a suspect during the ongoing investigation into the fatal shooting of Zecena-Mateo.
