LA PINE, Ore. — A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in La Pine neighborhoods earlier this week, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities identified the suspect as Noah Kirshner, who is accused of entering unlocked vehicles in the Reserve in the Pines and Crescent Creek areas and stealing valuables.
Investigators reviewed doorbell and driveway camera footage that allegedly shows Kirshner taking items such as an iPad, purses, wallets, and medication. Most of the stolen property has since been recovered and returned to the victims.
Kirshner has been charged with theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, and attempted unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He is currently being held at the Deschutes County Jail.
Deputies say the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as evidence is reviewed.
Authorities also noted that Kirshner has a prior history of theft-related offenses and other arrests, including recent charges for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
