A 24-year-old man has been sentenced to prison after being arrested in Redcar on Wednesday, 2nd July, for a string of serious offences.
Nino Vanzan was wanted in connection with several incidents between 27th June and 1st July, including harassment, causing fear of violence, threats to kill, and criminal damage to property. He was also being sought on a prison recall.
Following his arrest, Vanzan appeared before Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 3rd July. He pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced to eight months in prison. In addition, the court ordered him to pay £156 in compensation to his victim.
Authorities confirmed that the charges stemmed from multiple reported incidents in the Redcar area, and his swift arrest was the result of an active investigation.
