HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Nine individuals were arrested early Wednesday as part of a drug investigation tied to a Columbus, Ohio-based trafficking operation, according to the Huntington Police Department.

The arrests followed the execution of a search warrant in the 400 block of West 18th Street. Eight suspects were located inside the residence, while a ninth was apprehended in a nearby parking lot.

“This is how we push back against organized drug trafficking and take our neighborhoods back,” said Huntington Mayor Patrick Farrell. “Long before headlines, there’s quiet, relentless work by our officers and partners.”

The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into organized drug trafficking between Columbus and Huntington. Authorities seized a significant amount of crack cocaine, fentanyl, cash, firearms, and materials used for drug processing and distribution.

Arrested Individuals and Charges:
Terry Sky Hansard (“Jackboy”), 25, Columbus, OH — Two felonies for possession with intent to deliver and one for conspiracy to distribute.

Lamaurice Cox (“LA”), 20, Columbus, OH — Same charges as Hansard.

Dajaun Deion Reid (“Money”), 20, Columbus, OH — Same charges as Hansard.

Justin Dan Wiley, 34, Huntington — One felony for possession with intent to deliver.
