In a significant drug trafficking bust, Wayanad police arrested a 40-year-old Nigerian national, Chicka Abajuvo, and Sandeep Malik, another suspect, in the early hours of the morning. The arrest occurred in Wayanad, Kerala, after the police conducted a midnight operation targeting an ongoing drug racket linked to a larger network.

The duo was reportedly involved in trafficking drugs into Kerala, in connection with Prince Samson, a Tanzanian national who was arrested earlier in Bengaluru. Abajuvo and Malik were allegedly working in collaboration with Samson. Sandeep Malik, a student in India, was apprehended alongside Abajuvo.

The operation, carried out by the Sulthan Bathery police and the anti-narcotics wing of Wayanad police, resulted in the seizure of mobile phones, laptops, and crucial documents that revealed connections to other members of the trafficking syndicate.

Police officers, led by NP Raghavan, the Station House Officer of Sulthan Bathery, raided a flat in Bengaluru as part of their investigation into the trafficking network. Further investigations are ongoing, with authorities working to uncover the extent of the operation.
