Nichole Slattery Arrested for Target Theft in New Hartford

Utica woman charged with grand larceny after foot chase

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — A 29-year-old Utica woman, Nichole Slattery, was arrested following a theft in progress at the Target store in Sangertown Mall on June 7.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., New Hartford Police responded after loss prevention officers reported suspicious activity involving a group of individuals inside the store. Upon arrival, police were informed that one person was fleeing with a shopping cart full of stolen merchandise.

Officers quickly pursued the suspects on foot, apprehending Slattery after a short chase.

Investigators found that merchandise valued at $1,002.65 had been taken from the store.

Slattery was charged with one felony count of grand larceny and released on an appearance ticket pending further court proceedings.
