CHEYENNE, Wyo. — An Indiana man has been arrested following a series of drop box thefts at local apartment complexes earlier this year, Cheyenne police report.

Nicholas Holder, 27, was booked into the Laramie County Jail on three counts of felony theft. Between Feb. 29 and March 19, 2025, Cheyenne police received multiple reports of stolen deposits from drop boxes at properties along Taft Avenue and Mountain Road.

Video surveillance captured two men committing the thefts. On March 14, footage was shared on the CPD’s social media page through the Laramie County Silent Witness program. Later that day, a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper recognized the two men from a prior encounter on the interstate and provided body camera footage to the Division of Criminal Investigation.

Both suspects were subsequently identified using a criminal database. On May 22, warrants were issued for Holder and his accomplice, 26-year-old Quantel White, also from Indiana. Holder was located, arrested, and booked on Nov. 11. White remains at large.
