Nicholas Herring Charged with Tractor Theft in Craven County

Mount Olive man accused of stealing $55,000 John Deere tractor

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies have charged 39-year-old Nicholas Herring of Mount Olive with felony larceny after a farm tractor was stolen earlier this summer.

The stolen vehicle was a John Deere tractor valued at $55,000 owned by Quality Equipment. It was taken on June 24th in Craven County and was recovered a few days later by deputies in Duplin County.

Herring was released on a written promise to appear, with his next court date scheduled for August 28th.
