New York Man Arrested in Maine with $30K Worth of Drugs

Andre Jones faces drug trafficking charges after bust in Waterville

A yearlong investigation culminated in the arrest of 36-year-old Andre Jones from Bronx, New York, in Waterville, Maine, on February 6, 2025. Jones was found in possession of a large quantity of drugs, including nearly 300 grams of crack cocaine and almost 30 grams of fentanyl. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be $30,000.

Jones was reportedly bringing the drugs into Maine, and his arrest followed a comprehensive investigation. He faces two counts of aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs. After his arrest, Jones was taken to the Kennebec County Correctional Facility, where his bail was set at $25,000 cash.
