GONZALES, La. — Neo Morris, 41, was arrested on multiple drug-related charges, including the operation of a clandestine lab, after being suspected of methamphetamine distribution, according to local authorities.
On July 9, officers from the Gonzales Police Department and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Morris’s residence.
Inside, they found:
38 grams of heroin
4 grams of methamphetamine
4 grams of marijuana
6 doses of gabapentin, a prescription nerve pain medication
In addition to drug charges, Morris was also found to be a fugitive from another Louisiana jurisdiction. He was taken into custody without incident.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation and may involve additional charges related to drug trafficking or the suspected lab operation.
