Exeter, NH – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the high-end vehicle thefts from Foss Motors in Exeter, New Hampshire, following an interstate investigation.

Nelshon Luis Pires, 19, of Brockton, Massachusetts, was arrested Tuesday by Brockton Police on an Exeter Police arrest warrant. Pires is charged with felony theft related to the February 2024 theft of a white 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 and a gray 2021 Dodge Durango SRT, each valued at approximately $50,000. He is currently being held in Massachusetts, awaiting extradition to New Hampshire.

Pires’ arrest follows that of Alberto Marbert, 33, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, who was charged earlier this year for the theft of a white 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody and a red 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, stolen on February 17, 2024, from the same dealership. The stolen vehicles, valued at over $76,000, were later recovered in Boston.

The investigation began in May 2024 after the dealership was struck a second time, leading police to identify connections between the incidents.

Exeter Police Chief Stephan Poulin praised Detective John Suglia and the department’s Criminal Investigative Division for their collaborative work with state and federal partners, along with Brockton Police.

“Detective Suglia’s ability to parse out evidence and work closely with our partners has been critical,” said Chief Poulin. “We also thank the Brockton Police Department for their support in making this latest arrest.”

The investigation remains ongoing, and further charges have not been ruled out.
