Emami Ajetsibogho, popularly known as “Warri Kinsman,” was arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for allegedly smuggling 414.2 kilograms of cannabis sativa.

The arrest occurred on June 25, 2025, when NDLEA officers from the Lagos State Command apprehended Ajetsibogho. The illegal drugs were concealed in multiple bags, each containing sachets sealed in white and black nylon wraps.

Ajetsibogho hails from Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State and is known to hold considerable influence in his community. Reports indicate that he had evaded several previous arrest attempts.

Notably, Emami Ajetsibogho is reportedly the direct younger brother of a prominent politician in Delta State.

At the time of this report, Ajetsibogho remains in NDLEA custody as investigations continue.

Efforts to obtain an official comment from NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi were unsuccessful.
