UTICA, N.Y. — A 31-year-old Utica man is facing multiple charges after being arrested in connection with a larceny at the Price Chopper in North Utica.

The incident, which began on July 7, involved store loss prevention staff identifying Nathan Perry as a suspect in a prior theft. Perry had previously received a ban letter prohibiting him from entering the store.

During a search, officers found a substance believed to be crack cocaine.

Perry now faces several charges, including:

Burglary

Two counts of petit larceny

Obstructing governmental administration

Resisting arrest

Criminal possession of a controlled substance

He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
