GREENVILLE, Pitt County, NC — A 24-year-old Ernul man is facing multiple felony charges following separate jewelry thefts at Walmart, according to arrest warrants.

Nathan Michael Heine Jr., 24, was arrested on January 18 by the Greenville Police Department. He is charged with aiding and abetting in connection with a theft reported on January 10, 2026.

According to warrants, Heine and another suspect entered the store around 12:51 p.m. Investigators allege the second suspect pried open a jewelry display case while Heine stood in front to block attention. The stolen jewelry, valued at $5,054, was concealed by the second suspect and removed from the store by 1:26 p.m. Heine left at 1:19 p.m.

Heine was also previously arrested on January 12 for felony larceny and aiding and abetting related to a December 23, 2025 Walmart theft. That case involved 21 pieces of 14-karat jewelry worth $3,608.

Heine remains in custody at the Pitt County Detention Center, and both cases are pending in court.
