NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Bradley Copas, a local fencing contractor, has pleaded guilty to theft after several investigations by WSMV4 uncovered complaints from residents in Sumner County. Customers reported that Copas took payments for fence installations but never began the work.

In court last week, Copas admitted to theft of over $1,000 and failure to refund victims. He has been ordered to pay restitution to two women, Cynthia Summers and Kelly Holden, who were defrauded by Copas in Sumner County.

In addition to these charges, Copas is also accused of theft from homeowners in Logan County, Kentucky, where he has pleaded guilty to similar charges. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the guilty plea on Wednesday.

Copas now faces financial restitution obligations to the victims in both states.
