The Nakodar Sadar police have booked Narindar Kumar, a resident of Chuharr village, for allegedly operating an illegal IELTS coaching centre from his home. The complaint was filed by Saurav Gautam, also from Chuharr village, who reported the unauthorized Jevik IELTS centre to the Nakodar Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM). Acting on the complaint, the SDM forwarded the case to the SSP, who sought legal advice from the district attorney and subsequently ordered the registration of a case. The accused is now facing charges under the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act for running the illegal institute.
