The suspects, identified as Naresh Vadi, Arjun Marwadi, and Sanjay Vadi, were riding a motorcycle when police tried to intercept them. The trio attempted to flee but were quickly chased down and taken into custody.

During interrogation, the three confessed to snatching mobile phones valued over Rs1 lakh in different parts of the city, including Makarpura, Panigate, Sayajigunj, and Kapurai.

Authorities recovered eight stolen mobile phones from the suspects’ possession. Police also revealed that the trio has a criminal history with multiple theft cases registered against them at various police stations across the city.

Further investigation is underway to identify potential buyers and recover more stolen items linked to the gang.
