The Nagpur Crime Branch – Anti-Burglary Squad has arrested four individuals allegedly involved in a high-profile burglary at the residence of Subhash Raibole in Vasant Nagar.
The incident took place in the early hours of October 8, when thieves entered Raibole’s home and stole Rs2.58 lakh in cash, five gold coins, various gold and silver ornaments, and a mobile phone, totalling approximately ₹20.60 lakh. Raibole registered a complaint at Ajni Police Station.
Following technical investigation and credible tips, the squad apprehended the accused: Rupesh Atram, Atul Rana, Rohit Manohar, and Ratnamala Manohar. During interrogation, they confessed to the Vasant Nagar burglary as well as other burglaries and vehicle thefts across Hudkeshwar, Hinganghat, and Ramnagar Chandrapur.
Police seized Rs14,500 in cash, gold and silver ornaments, two motorcycles, and four mobile phones, valued at ₹18.60 lakh. The accused and the recovered items have been handed over to Ajni Police for further investigation.
