The Kasturba Marg Police in Mumbai have arrested two men allegedly involved in a night-time burglary in Borivali East. The suspects reportedly broke the shutter of a borewell materials shop and fled with copper cable worth Rs75,000.
The incident occurred on the night of November 15–16 at Shop No. 1 in Sai Prasad Building, near Swagat Hall on Kasturba Road No. 5. The stolen copper cable belonged to Polycab Company, and a case was registered under the relevant sections at Kasturba Marg Police Station.
A team led by Sub-Inspector Dhiraj Vaikos and including head constable Aniket Shinde, Rajesh Pednekar, Tanveer Mujawar, Karunesh Mhatre, Mahantesh Savali, Pravin Farde, Mahadev Puri, Rahul Sangle, Vikesh Shingte, Rahul Vader, Amol Fopse, Tushar Pujari, and Aniket Sakpal analyzed CCTV footage and set up a trap at Azad Nagar slum near Golden Nest Signal, Bhayander East, where both suspects were apprehended.
Police recovered the stolen copper cable and seized the autorickshaw used in the crime.

Sanojkumar Harijan (27) – Noted habitual offender with multiple prior cases at Navghar and Mira Road police stations.
