Mumbai Job Scam: Priyanshi Shrivastava and Javed Sheikh Charged

In a troubling fraud case, Mumbai police have charged Priyanshi Shrivastava and Javed Sheikh for issuing fake job offer letters to unsuspecting job seekers, promising positions at a private hospital.

The duo reportedly deceived individuals by accepting payments in exchange for these fraudulent letters. This scheme came to light after complaints were filed by two victims.

One victim, Masoom Sheikh, lodged a complaint in May after being offered a job in the hospital’s billing department, only to find out the offer letter was fake. Similarly, Suhana Anjan reported being misled in July. The police are currently investigating the matter under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for cheating and forgery.
