Three suspects have been arrested after their involvement in a multi-state theft investigation, spanning Florida and Georgia.
On March 25, deputies from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a liquor store theft in Ponce De Leon, where masked suspects stole over $1,400 worth of liquor. Upon investigation, authorities determined the suspects had also committed a similar theft the previous day in Jackson County, Florida. Further investigation revealed that two Georgia law enforcement agencies were also looking into related thefts by the same group.
The suspects, Jahaysia Anderson, Amiah Lovette, and Jade Stewart, were apprehended in Habersham County, Georgia. Evidence linked them back to the Holmes County theft. The suspects now face multiple charges, including dealing in stolen property, grand theft, and possession of alcohol under the age of 21.
