SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL – Haiden Deegan, a 19-year-old three-time championship motocross racer, was arrested on March 21 in Walton County, Florida, on charges of street racing/stunt driving.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Deegan was allegedly performing donuts in a gray Audi R8 at the Walton Sports Complex parking lot. A deputy on patrol reported hearing squealing tires and revving engines, leading to the discovery of Deegan and three other vehicles in the lot.
Law enforcement officers claim Deegan’s car accelerated and executed a full rotation before they activated their lights and sirens. Deegan allegedly completed another rotation before stopping. He was detained, arrested, and issued a traffic citation.
Deegan was transported to the Walton County Jail, and his Audi R8 was impounded for 30 days. He was later released on a $1,000 bail.
Following the incident, Deegan posted his booking history on Instagram, jokingly calling himself a “certified stunt driver” with a laughing emoji.
