WARREN, Mich. — A Warren woman has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of her husband, authorities said.
Moriah Dandrade, 31, allegedly killed her husband, James Graham, 31, in the early morning hours of Jan. 27, according to Macomb County prosecutors. Police discovered Graham’s body in the couple’s shared home.
Dandrade was arraigned Friday on charges of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence. A judge set her bond at $500,000, and if she posts bond, she must wear a GPS tether.
Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido emphasized the seriousness of the case.
“The allegations in this matter are deeply troubling. Domestic violence happens to both men and women. If you are the victim of domestic violence, call 911 in the event of an emergency,” Lucido said.
Dandrade is scheduled to return to court for a probable cause conference on Feb. 10, with a preliminary examination set for Feb. 17.
