In a recent operation, Padubidri police arrested two individuals in connection with a bike theft case. The arrested suspects have been identified as Mohammed Ruhan, 28, from NR Pura in Chikkamagaluru, and Tajuddin PK, alias Taju, 28, from Ashok Nagar in Shivamogga.
The duo was charged under Section 303(2) of the BNS and has been remanded to judicial custody. According to police reports, Ruhan has a criminal record with two registered cases in Shivamogga and one in Bengaluru Rural district. On the other hand, Tajuddin has a more extensive criminal background, with 17 cases registered against him, including eight in Shivamogga, five in Hubballi, two in Hassan, and one each in Haveri and Bengaluru city.
The police are continuing their investigation into the stolen bikes and the suspects’ potential involvement in other criminal activities. Both accused were produced in court following their arrest, and the authorities are working to gather more information regarding their criminal activities.
