The Golkonda Police have successfully apprehended Mohammed Mujahid Qureshi Javeed, a 31-year-old habitual burglar, for a series of house thefts in Telangana and Maharashtra. He was arrested near Jamali Darwaza on July 7, 2025, after a well-coordinated operation by the Tolichowki division police.

The arrest followed a complaint filed on July 6, regarding a break-in at the residence of Ameer Khatoon in Naya Qila, Golkonda. The burglary took place on the night of June 29, when the suspects looted ₹70,000 in cash, a mobile phone, gold ornaments weighing 1.05 grams, silver items, and other valuables.

During the arrest, Qureshi Javeed was found in possession of tools commonly used in thefts—an iron rod, gloves, and a black mask. He is also suspected to be involved in other thefts reported across both states.

The accused resides near the BJP office in Kattelmandi, Abids, Hyderabad, and is currently in police custody as further investigation continues.
