Two men were arrested on Monday night at a Bekal homestay near Uduma, Kasaragod, Kerala, for allegedly harassing a female anchor while under the influence of alcohol. The Bekal police, led by Inspector K.P. Shine, detained Mohammed Irshad (28) and N.S. Abdullah (30) after the victim, a vlogger from Wayanad, posted a video detailing the incident.
The complainant, who was staying alone at the homestay for a promotional video shoot, reported that the accused threatened her and tried to force their way into her room around midnight. Following her video, police intervened and safely arrested both men for criminal intimidation and trespass.
