Police have arrested Mohammed Bilal (32) and Mohammed Aslam (28), both residents of Jeedimetla, in connection with the murder of 25-year-old cab driver Syed Danish, whose body was found on the Suraram hillocks on May 29.
According to the police, the three men had a long-standing personal dispute, which escalated fatally. Bilal, reportedly holding a grudge, planned the attack and armed himself with a knife hidden at his home. He shared his intentions with his associate, Aslam, who agreed to participate.
On the day of the incident, they arranged to meet Danish, who arrived in his white hatchback car. Together, they drove towards the isolated area of Bathukamma Banda, where the murder took place.
The suspects have been taken into custody and charged with homicide, with further investigation underway to uncover additional details surrounding the motive and premeditation.
