Moga Police Arrest Vicky Arora with Rs4.2 Crore Worth of Drugs in Seizure

Police Recover 2.8 Lakh Tramadol Tablets and More in Major Smuggling Bust

The Moga Police have arrested a narcotic smuggler, Vicky Arora alias Vijay Arora, a resident of Bhim Nagar, in a major drug bust. The arrest occurred after police intercepted his car and discovered 24,000 tramadol tablets.

Further investigation led to a raid on a godown, where officers recovered a massive cache of illegal drugs. The seizure included 2,80,800 tramadol tablets, 8,75,900 pregabalin capsules, 4,500 bottles of codeine syrup, and Rs52,500 in drug money. The total value of the seized narcotics is estimated at Rs4.2 crore, along with the vehicle used for smuggling.

Authorities have confirmed that Vicky Arora has a previous criminal record involving the trafficking of commercial quantities of drugs. The police are continuing their investigation to uncover the full network of the drug syndicate, including both forward and backward linkages.
