In a disturbing case involving the murder of a 15-year-old girl staged as a road accident, the Guhla Police have arrested another accused, identified as Mithun alias Mithu, a resident of Hansumajra village. He is the sixth person arrested in connection with the case.
Earlier, five individuals had been taken into custody, including the girl’s own mother Rekha, as well as Rajesh, Ranjeet, and Ranjeet Singh. The main accused, Laddi, also from Hansumajra, remains absconding, and police claim that efforts are underway to arrest him.
A police spokesperson confirmed, “Mithun was absconding earlier but has now been arrested. A total of six individuals are now in custody.”
The case initially began with a Zero FIR registered at Radaur, which was later transferred to Guhla Police Station for jurisdictional investigation.
Sub-Inspector Vijender Singh and his team played a key role in investigating the incident and tracking down the accused. Authorities are continuing to probe the motive behind the murder and how the cover-up was staged.
