JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) – On Thursday, May 8, Skyler Breann Sledd, 25, from Belton, Missouri, was arrested following a high-risk traffic stop near U.S. Highway 75 and 110th Road.
Sheriff Tim Morse reported that Sledd fled from the Jackson County District Court, prompting a warrant for her arrest. Deputies located her driving a 2007 Buick Lacrosse and conducted a high-risk stop near 102nd Road.
A search of the vehicle uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Sledd was taken into custody and booked into Jackson County Jail. She faces charges including possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked, and driving with expired registration.
