Michaela Alleman, 27, and Katlyn Burkhart, 21, both of Woodsfield, were arrested following a drug bust in Monroe County, Ohio, where authorities uncovered methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other items connected to drug trafficking.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in Center Township, leading to the discovery of illegal substances and trafficking-related materials.

Alleman faces three counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs in the vicinity of a juvenile, illegal conveyance, and tampering with evidence. Burkhart is charged with three counts of endangering children, possession of drug abuse instruments, and attempted tampering with evidence.

Monroe County Sheriff Derek Norman issued a stern warning following the arrests: “These arrests should serve as a warning to anyone bringing this poison into our communities. If you choose to engage in this type of criminal activity, especially in the presence of a child, I promise that it will absolutely not be tolerated, and you will be caught.”

Both women remain in custody, facing multiple charges as investigations continue.
