DECATUR, Ill. (WICS) — Two individuals have been arrested in connection to the death of Stephanie Krohn, 55, whose body was discovered in her Decatur home Sunday morning.
Authorities have identified the suspects as Michael Dean Wicker Jr. and Kelly Lewis, both of whom now face multiple felony charges.
Wicker Jr. is charged with:
Aggravated arson knowing a person is present
Concealment of a homicide
Felon in possession or use of a firearm
Methamphetamine-related offense
Parole violation
Lewis faces similar charges, including:
Aggravated arson knowing a person is present
Concealment of a homicide
Felon in possession or use of a firearm
Parole violation
Krohn was found deceased inside her home in the 8000 block of Ridge Road in Macon County around 10 a.m. on Sunday. Authorities have not yet released further details on the cause of death or motive behind the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
