MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. — A coordinated drug bust in Muhlenberg County on Wednesday led to the arrest of a local man and the seizure of guns, drugs, and paraphernalia.
Law enforcement officials from the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office, the Pennyrile Narcotic Task Force, and the Greenville Police Department worked together to arrest Michael S. Wells, 59, during a raid at his residence.
Officers executed a search warrant and reportedly discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, multiple firearms, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
Wells was taken into custody and booked into the Muhlenberg County Jail. He faces multiple charges, including:
Trafficking in Methamphetamine
Trafficking in Marijuana
Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Authorities have not released further details as the investigation continues.
