Michael & Matthew Hunter, Angela Kosecki Arrested for Walmart Theft

Trio Charged with Retail Fraud and Organized Retail Crime

VIENNA TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Three Bay City residents have been arrested for allegedly stealing a significant amount of electronics from a Walmart in Vienna Township, according to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspects, identified as 39-year-old Michael Hunter, 41-year-old Matthew Hunter, and 41-year-old Angela Kosecki, are facing charges of First Degree Retail Fraud and Organized Retail Crime.

Sheriff Chris Swanson stated that the trio loaded multiple shopping carts with electronics before fleeing through a fire exit door without paying. Authorities later apprehended them, linking them to an organized retail theft operation.

The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement continues to crack down on retail theft in the area.
